GRAPPLELOOP TRAINING GUIDES
A BJJ training journal for iPhone
GrappleLoop is a private BJJ training journal for iPhone. Choose one focus, review a short cue before training, and check in afterward with what happened and what you want to remember next time.
Turn each class into a next step
A useful journal entry can be brief. Record the technique you attempted, what happened under resistance, and one adjustment to remember next time. That gives your next class a starting point you can actually use.
Keep one focus active
Your focus can be a move, position, or concept you want to practice. For example, choose knee-cut passing and write a cue such as “Get the underhook before I slide.”
Before class, review that cue. Afterward, record whether your focus worked, partly worked, got stuck, or was not attempted. Write the next cue while the session is still fresh.
If class introduces something else you want to remember, capture it as a learning without replacing your active focus.
Find your training history
GrappleLoop keeps a searchable history with timeline, topic, and calendar views. Revisit class notes, follow a topic over time, and review completed focus cycles. Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets can keep your current cue nearby.
Your journal is tied to your account, with no public feed. Account settings provide training-data export and account deletion.
Choose it for a recurring practice loop
GrappleLoop suits practitioners who want to keep working on one idea across several classes. A notebook or a general notes app may suit you if you prefer completely freeform writing.
GrappleLoop is available for iOS. Android and browser journal versions are not available. Saving new check-ins and syncing require an internet connection.
You receive six free check-ins per account. Continue with an optional $9.99 USD one-time lifetime unlock and no subscription. Local pricing and taxes are shown at purchase.
